A Growing (Co)mmunity
The (co)working space at Woodbridge has undergone more growth in the last year than it has in the last decade. It’s safe to say we’re pretty excited. New members have joined the workspace, bringing fresh perspectives and starting new relationships amongst our (co)mmunity. We have also begun to expand our office with new rooms and service offerings for our members. With all of this happening at a time of extraordinary growth in the East Coast coworking market, we’ve decided it best to unveil our refreshed logo design.
Our newest logo installment aims to set our space apart from the rest and to more prominently display the (co)working space brand to New Jersey residents and visitors alike. The coworking industry has grown by 200% in the last five years and it is set to hold 3.8 million members by 2020. As this expansion progresses, there is no doubt that the market will segment.
Each individual coworking space or brand that is being developed is different from the last. While companies like WeWork control the “corporate” coworking environment as they plan to go public in 2019–mid-size and smaller-size spaces have also emerged. After long, each and every niche market that coworkers call for will be met. For example, coworking offices have opened that specifically cater to niche markets like small business owners or for women only. If the industry’s predicted track is indeed correct, coworking offices like these will continue to sprout.
As this change occurs, branding the (co)working space at Woodbridge with our new logo is the first step to finding our own niche. Our (co)mmunity is growing and while we are considered a smaller space, our next step is to make the jump to mid-size. With an emphasis on growing that community, our space is beginning to offer private offices, multipurpose event space, various mail services, and upgraded conference room amenities.
Our (co)working space members know that we are totally Jersey-centric. With maps of the most popular Jersey Shore towns hanging around our space, we specifically cater to NJ residents and hard workers whose business takes them to the Garden State. Our new branding isn’t just a splash of color to our logo, but a sign to our (co)mmunity that we look out for our own no matter who ends up joining up. From Jersey-born freelancers to remote workers who are employed by out-of-state businesses, we tend to the needs of hard workers who demand reliable, flexible space. While we continue to grow in numbers, we will never forget that our (co)mmunity of distinct individuals is what sets us apart.
